The video segments exposing American poor children is an indictment of the Bush regime's lopsided and war freak policies. It bared the truth to the world audience, especially those in 3rd world countries who've always assumed that there are no poor people in the USA. So much so that Bush's psywar advisers told him to appear on American Idol with such awfully stupid remarks to serve as a smokescreen.
