Tim Seward is a great guy and you can feel comfortable applying there. You probably already know that ChannelAdvisor is hiring. If you’re experienced with PHP, Brian at SEOPosition.com is looking for someone.

If you were in sales, I know of an SEO firm that is looking for quality sales people to work from home.

    Best of luck to all.

I’m hiring in the Boston area. Can’t pay moving expenses and it’s probably a lot more expensive to live here than in NC, but drop me an email if you might be interested. Looking for a variety of SEM skills.

I know it’s pretty much standard practice to blame the management, but in all honesty… the people who were let go were brilliant people who really wanted to take the company to good places. They were loyal and worked hard… even under the looming axe. I truly wish them the best.

Thanks for hleping all these great people Adam. Unortunatly I find myself in a similar predicament. I was in a bit of a hurry to move on 6 months ago and took the wrong position for me and my skill set… so I’m currently in the market for a new job as well. For those of you who don’t know me, I was a former Sales Engineer with MSI having done at all from sales to account mangement and everything in between. Here’s a link to my Linkin account that will thoe interested in learning more about my work history:

I second (third?) the ROI plug. Timothy is a great guy. Not sure what else is going on a round here. I would suggest trying to get in with a single business to do their online marketing. Look at the Pharm companies and some of the smaller tech companies in the area.

Here is the name of a Recruiter who helped me find my current job at McClatchy Interactive. He says to send him resumes & he may have positions to suit the skills.

    Email: Marcellus.Howard@hudson.com

Feel free to reference me. I let him know people might be contacting him!

Thanks Andy! We are looking for a PHP/MySQL person with (hopefully) some Drupal experience too. If no Drupal experience, just a solid understanding of PHP/MySQL would do.

I would also be interested in speaking with someone who might want to take on work overload we’re experiencing. Many of the projects we receive lately have many sides to them - web design, on-page optimization/development, possible a conversion to a CMS like Drupal or Wordpress, SEO and link building, etc.

Ideally I would like to work with someone who wants to consult with us for a 3 month period to provide reports, some of the SEO for the client (like link building, site improvements, or content additions), and be the contact person for the client.

After 3 months, if you’re doing a bang up job, then I’ll hire you full time. I just don’t want to hire right off the bat without seeing the ROI. Hourly rate for consulting for the three month period would be in the neighborhood of $16-26 per hour depending on your experience and how much you can lighten my/our current workload. The number of hours per week would be about 30-40.

Please email us at signups seoposition.com and attach your resume if you’re interested.

Sorry to hear about yours and everyones job losses. It really sucks when horrific companies suffocate great people.

If you or anyone you know is interested in coming to the big apple, Greenlight (we’re Europe’s leading search agency) has opened its New York office and I’m looking for a multitude of mid level and senior people on both SEO and PPC sides, including a head of agency for the NY office.

Send your resume to warren.cowan@greenlightsearch.com if such opportunities should be up your street.

Hi Dan, I’m trying to get in touch with some of the former MarketSmart folks for freelance work and job opportunities. Please forward this around to your friends. They can connect with me on LinkedIn directly using the email address lweaver@ciinc.com

    good luck.

My name is Jeff Phillips and I own CAD Enterprises LLC out of Madisonville KY. This is the parent company of CAD website Design, RSStatic.com, MyEZShop.com, Classadrivers.com, and a few others. I would be interested in talking to someone about marketing and promotion with respect to providing those services to our clients.

I see SEO becoming integrated into development of a website, not just a stand alone function. I have great programmers and graphics people, but what i would really like to provide is branding and marketing services along with the development.

I can be contacted via our online contact form at www.cadwebsitedesign.com or at www.cadenterprisesllc.com

Acronym Media is hiring. Most positions are in NYC, although a few are available here in Raleigh as well. Send me your resume - jennyhalasz at gmail dot com and I’ll foward it on to our hiring manager with my personal recommendation.

None of you guys will have trouble finding great jobs where you want. Microsoft is not a fit for everybody, and neither is NYC or Seattle if you are in NC. But the Media Analytics Services team that supports MSN Search is hiring search analysts and people managers.
